Saint Francis

My very dear friend Mary sent me a statue of St Francis to replace the one I had to leave behind in Cape May Point. He arrived a little worse for wear---but some Kekaha sand and the bottom of a milk container fixed him right up!

Christmas Day in Waimea

We had fun watching the kids open presents---even Avalon liked watching Noah open his! It's exhausting, and both adults and the little ones need rest after awhile!

The entire west side shows up for this! It's crazy. People stake their spots by putting chairs along the route early in the morning. Some start sitting there by the street at 3 PM and the parade doesn't start till 6 PM! What a fun and funny event!
