Jill and I hosted the Anything Goes Group (local single women) last night at her condo for dinner. 15 women can get very loud in a confined space! It was a fun evening! Looked like everyone had a good time. If you look close, you'll see the Nambe crystal vase on the table!

Another yummy cousin dinner! Judy and Allan are leaving---going back to Oklahoma for the winter. We'll sure miss them!

Received a surprise package from Mary! Wow----home made "Ollie" fudge, biscochitos, and a fresh red chili ristra which I promptly hung on my porch!

Fall is still a couple days away, but it was crisp enough this morning for my first fire!

The Budster (also known as Bud, Buddy, or Mr Bud) likes to let it all hang out. This is one of his most common resting positions!

So far I have 14 Black Swallowtail caterpillars on my potted parsley. Needless to say, I am now buying my parsley from the Produce Place, so as to not inconvenience my yard guests! Enlarge the picture to see my soon-to-be butterflies better by clicking on the image.
