Cafè Casey - Cape May Point

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Every October our town has a Dune Day where folks plant trees, shrubs and dune grass to help hold sand in the dunes. This shot of the beach shows the type of dune grass that we plant. After the planting everyone gathers at the Fire House for a pot luck lunch! Fun day for all.

  • Who knew people actually planted that dune grass.......great idea -you conservationist you! A grateful nation thanks you for preserving its shore lines (I'll just speak for your countrymen, ha!). CC
